This coloured illustration was first published in December 1925 and features a recurrent Christmas theme of fairy folk and goblins. The fairy of the title sits looking very regal accepting gifts from a line of homely, deferential and bumbling Goblins. A spider sits at the centre of his web itching to spoil the party.
