Silk Square Scarf - 'Hitchin Lavender'

Jane Anne Ryan of JannaArt is a textile fine artist working in Harrow, London. Jane specialises in silk painting. Her hand painted landscapes have been printed onto silk scarves by the Silk Bureau in Worcestershire.

These pieces can be seen as either ‘wearable’ art or as paintings in their own right. The designs depict views of Hitchin Lavender fields, which Jane regularly visit to draw, paint, and collect lavender.

Jane’s textiles are featured at the Heath Robinson Museum onsite shop as one of our selected Makers
